Diamond Light

Diamond Light

Diamond Light

Seeking solace

Seeking light

Fighting the demons within,

Walking late in the night.

Tackling those moments

That make you retreat;

Yet those same feet

Take steps forward,

Take flight towards light,

Indulge life’s lessons.

Curious to always see;

Enquire about his inner me.

Laugh learn and listen

To a beat that generates heat.

Open to the question:

Oh how to feel at ease?

Not closing the door,

Not simply lying on life’s floor;

One step at a time.

With mans best companion -

A true champion.

As solace and light

Are found with tackling it all,

Within that steel -

Inner fight,

Unleashing interior might.

Tonight tomorrow

Who knows but, open armed:

To be disarmed!

Ready one day;

To feel that calm.

Yet always, well maybe;

just who he needs to be.
